Using fungi from the collection of the Centre of Molecular and Environmental Biology, with a high capacity to break chemical bonds similar to those found in plastics, we hope to achieve a way to help the planet to be free of plastics, minimizing their negative impacts on aquatic fauna, especially birds, turtles, and cetaceans.
