“TrintOlhares” image competition

In 2026/2027, the Applied Biology degree celebrates its 30th anniversary. To mark this date, the Department of Biology at the University of Minho is launching the “TrintOlhares” image competition in the categories of photography and illustration. The competition invites the community to share different perspectives on Biology, from the molecular scale to ecosystems, including areas such as biodiversity, evolution, microbiology, biotechnology, conservation, genetics, ecology, physiology, ethology, among many others. 30 images will be selected to be included in a commemorative exhibition to be inaugurated at the beginning of the academic year at the University of Minho.
