Abstract
This proposal identifies two major challenges to be tackled:(1) ecologically-relevant information is needed on the impact of fungicides on non-target aquatic fungi in order to provide a sounder risk assessment of these chemicals, including their selectivity and potential for promoting field tolerance or resistance; (2) analytical detection of fungicides in aqueous samples, such as biosensing based on recombinant yeast cells.
