Abstract

"Fleurs locales” generates concrete responses to the massive erosion of biodiversity, accelerated by climate change: adaptation of protocols for the restoration of Mediterranean environments and the construction of ecological restoration chains with all stakeholders (land managers, scientists, seed producers, communities, users...) brought together around "local biodiversity management contracts".Pilot areas are mobilized in each country. Based on common methods, each partner develops restoration chains to respond to specific local challenges (vineyards, flower meadows, burnt areas). The project's 6 partners (scientists, managers and socio-economic stakeholders) combine their skills to establish native seed mixes and structure restoration chains adapted to the diverse needs of the environments in the south-west Europe region.
