Abstract
EthnoHERBS project aims to the development of an efficient platform for the discovery of novel therapeutic agents against skin disorders, relying in the great potential of traditional medicine and rich biodiversity of the Flora of Balkan peninsula. Already existing databases with traditional medicine information will be exploited by incorporating modern high throughput procedures for the isolation of novel bioactive compounds.
