Qualifications

She concluded her undergraduate studies in Economics in 2014, at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Hacettepe University, with a semester abroad at Helena Chodkowska University of Technology and Economics, Warsaw, Poland. She joined the Master in Economics at the same institution in 2014. In the last semester of her Master's degree, she attended Catholica Porto Business School in the context of the Erasmus program. In 2016, she enrolled in the Doctoral Programme in Economics (taught in English) at the School of Economics and Management, University of Porto (FEP.UP). She earned her Doctoral degree in Economics on 10th of March 2023. During her PhD, she worked as a research assistant at the Centre of Economics and Finance at the University of Porto (CEF.UP) and at the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering, Technology and Science (INESC-TEC). Her research interests are Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Sustainability, Geographic Information Systems, Multi-Criteria Decision Making and Operations Research.
