Linking Biodiversity to Ecosystem Functioning and Services under Global Change

In this online advanced course, the concepts of functional diversity, multifunctionality and ecosystem services will be explored, together with phylogenetic ecology tools, trait-based approaches, ecosystem processes metrics, multitrophic approaches, multifunctional metrics, ecosystem services indicators, and case-studies.  It includes a strong component of practicals using R studio for data analysis.

Nine days and 10 invited speakers from national and international Institutes. The course is targeted for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and professionals who wish to improve their skills ecological modelling and their knowledge on how global change affects biodiversity, ecosystem functioning and Services.
