CBMA plays a pivotal role at the van Uden Symposium

The van Uden Symposium on Yeast Biology took place in Curia, Portugal, from the 20th to the 21st of September 2024, bringing together national and international researchers. The CBMA team played a pivotal role in the event, contributing to the Organising Committee, Scientific Committee, and Honour Committee. A plenary session was delivered by Maria João Sousa, alongside several oral presentations by CBMA students and researchers, highlighting projects on cellular factories, therapeutic targets, and mechanisms of resistance and adaptation.

The symposium fostered valuable national and international networking opportunities.
